Relevant background
As Head of European Gas at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, I led gas policy work during UK–EU negotiations. At National Grid, I worked on European market design and the development, negotiation and implementation of EU gas network codes. International assignments have included REMIT, cross-border capacity, infrastructure rightsizing and gas distribution reform.
